First release on M Ocean for KSN Comprising Kate and Jason and working out of their Cowshed studio in Sussex this pair have influences ranging from 90’s hip hop, through hardcore to Dolly Parton. Nothing is off limits.
As well as putting out their own brand of banging DnB they also run label Dirty Habit, with an elite roster of artists over the years.
With a long history in the bass music scene, releasing on labels such as Moving Shadow, Cheap Thrills, Skint and Black Butter you can expect no punches to be pulled!

The three track EP is a generous offering which centres around KSN’s bassy prowess. With tekky beats and quaking bass underpinning it’s stockier segments, ‘Lights Out’ comes in hot ‘n heavy. Hypnotic soft vocals fall ghost-like between the mix, combining perfectly with a Ragga sample to create a brooding edge, developing a huge badman energy that keeps the track grounded and danceable. ‘Lights Out Dub’ sees a deeper, more dubby bass and ‘Lights Out Squat Party Remix’ is a proper tear out hardcore vibe with absolutely massive punchy drums. Not for the fainthearted.
